Welcome to Coch-Y-Bondhu
Here's a few tips for making yourselves at home.
First off - Heating
In Summer or Winter, the hydronic heating will keep the house a comfy temperature, warmer in the afternoon and evening and cooler overnight while you are sleeping.
You are welcome to light the fire, there's kindling and fire lighters available and plenty of wood in the the little hut outside at the front.
Other stuff
WiFi, TV and DVD
You can log onto the WiFi by selecting the AussieBroadband service and entering the password off the fridge.
There is one remote for the TV and while the TV does take about 30 seconds to warm up, if you press the APP button once the TV is on, you'll get the list of free to air digital stations and streaming services.
The free to air digital channels are ready to go but you'll need to log on to your own streaming service accounts and do remember to log off before you leave.
Sometimes a message comes up on screen that doesn’t respond to the small black remote, that needs the large silver remote out of the top left drawer. Usually the small remote is all you need.
If you want to watch a DVD, turn the TV on first and then just pop a DVD in the player. There is no longer a remote for the DVD but the buttons to operate it are on the front of the unit at the right (under a flap if someone has flipped it back up).

Books and Games
Please make use of any of the games and feel free to read the books.
Bubbly Water
The red carbonator on the bench has bottles that might be in the fridge.
Choose the bottle with the fill line to use first so you can see what level to fill the bottle so it doesn't overflow when you add the bubbles.
Pantry Staples
Please help yourself to anything currently in the pantry.
There is usually olive oil and condiments for cooking and maybe some rice and cereal depending on what's been popular.
Pots and Pans
There is a wide range of saucepans, steamers and frypans in the cupboards, we would love for you to do some home cooking while you are here.
Kitchen Appliances
The pantry has a range of cooking appliances that you are welcome to use.
Please be careful and always clean them after use.
There is a:
Toaster
Sandwich Press
Air Fryer
Pressure Cooker
Slow Cooker
If you are unfamiliar with any appliance, please check the instruction page on this website before using it.
Spa Bath
For the spa bath, please make sure the nozzles are all covered before you activate them.
You can fill the bath a little quicker if you use the shower hose in the bath as well having the bath taps on full.
Once the nozzles are covered, press the Red icon to turn the unit on, then press the other buttons for a variety of combinations of different bubble types and light colours.
